Dianna, Enjoy your adventure in Mexico. The beginning of any intercultural experience is usually the most difficult, but I'm sure you'll make friends really quickly. It sounds like your birthday was really special. Birthdays seem to be a BIG thing in Latin culture. Parabéns! (I don't know the Spanish word!)
Buenos Dios Dianna y "Feliz Cumpleanos"....not sure if the spelling is correct. Sounds as though you're having a great time there and a wonderful family "hosting" you there. This adventure sounds like something that I would like to be along for. I enjoyed reading your "blog" and will keep up with all the "goings on" there.
